Free half hour bystander training This free training empowers people to be active bystanders when they see harassment taking place, without putting their own personal safety at risk.

I've just spent a very useful half hour on this free bystander training from @suzylamplughtrust.bsky.social

Full of simple, safe, sensible ways *anyone* can help in street harassment situations.

Leeds research is catalyst for major Safer Parks campaign This September, researchers at Leeds are partnering with Keep Britain Tidy, and the Suzy Lamplugh Trust to launch Safer Parks: Stand Up Against Street Harassment.

The training is based on the 5Ds of bystander intervention, designed to promote safety and not escalate the situation:
