- suddenly hear/see a "waterfall" a few meters ahead of me: a fat monkey on a branch high above the khlong was peeing, glad I could stop before, lol

- monkeys near Phra Chulachomklao Fort
- noisy terns following/circling around my kayak :)
- the pilot station makes for an impressive sight
- really shallow on my way back

- wide and clear view: I could see both Chonburi mountains and Phetchaburi/Ratchaburi mountains on the far horizon
- the sea was teeming with fish
