The bullfinch is such a shy bird and quite scarce where I live it is a great pleasure to have seen one today.

Many ducks at #StodmarshNNR this w/e not looking their best, skulking in eclipse. But stunning subtle plumage of pair of Gadwall was on display. Hawthorns aflame with haws, awaiting the arrival of the winter thrushes to relieve them of their burden. Marsh Harrier patrolling. 2/4
