47 years (count 'em) ago today I watched my first ever full 'Doctor Who' story, 'The Stones of Blood'.

When the VHS was released in May 1995 and DVD in 2007 I bought it, and was lucky enough to get it signed by Susan Engel and Shirin Taylor.

Before close of episode 3, #StonesOfBlood, the evil cackle of the Doctor's nemesis (played by Susan Engel) makes a return, this time in (a zone of theoretical silliness) Hyperspace.
So this cackle entails a strong mix of reverb & tape delay from the dubbing team to give the right feel.

"His blood is still warm" says crazed druidic professor in an obscure, coastal country house, after his assistant/partner thumps 4th Doctor over the back of the head.
First episode ends on a literal cliff hanger for Romana.
