I'm still not convinced that Up is a "classic fairy tale", but I found it the most successful of the three new scenes. 🎈🏠
I just wish that the flying house moved up and down a bit, and that the Paradise Falls background had some actual waterfalls.

I found the Frozen scene lacking, given how massive Frozen is. Elsa's Ice Palace didn't stand out and the snow covered trees were clearly reused.
Also, I didn't like the way the music heard (Night on Bald Mountain) didn't match what I was looking at. 🫤

Winnie the Pooh's treehouse didn't jump out as a piece of "iconic Disney architecture" and instead blended in with the other plants. 🌳🤷🏻♂️
Also, I felt that it didn't belong with the two other stories in that area, which are both from German authors. 🇩🇪

In the queue for Le Pays des Contes de Fées, I saw the beautiful Vittel display. 😍
In my opinion, this sculptural piece is a positive addition and integrates the sponsor in a tasteful and natural way, by playing on the theme of flowing water. 👌

At 10:55am, it was finally time to ride Le Pays des Contes de Fées and see the August 2024 changes for myself.
The redesigned giant book improves on the 1994 version, with its new typography, richer colour scheme and inclusion of Disney characters. 📖
