Funky but I would've loved to have seen more George, especially killing George. Very 70s with some gags that caught me nicely.
Fangs for the memories @vickyblue21.bsky.social and #SundayCinema.
Now, let's grab a bite to eat.
This was fun. It had some very funny moments
Thanks for the pick @vickyblue21.bsky.social
See you in 2 weeks

It was OKAY. There were a few really funny lines and moments dotted around that kept it going, but it really lost me a bit during the standard "now we do a whacky chase finale".
Alright choice from @vickyblue21.bsky.social! Up a week from tomorrow is @cta84.bsky.social! C U THEN

Dracula is definitely the right man for her! Not sure she'll be getting too many nibbles from Dr Camp #SundayCinema
Ps: Go, you horny det!
Alright, his "No harm done!" bit was pretty fucking funny.

Dracula sucks!
lol

Hmmm. I'm thinking Richard Benjamin's a tad miscast in this role, it's not quite working for me.
#SundayCinema
"Loan shark, eh?"
#SundayCinema
"Never a quickie. Always a longie."
I'm thinking this one is pretty broad and daft, very hit and miss, but the hits are pretty fucking good.
And him flipping the sun the middle finger, OKAY, HIT THERE

One of my fave movie dance scenes. and that they do it themselves. That move at the end.
๐ฌ๐ฌ Would hurt if got it wrong.

Kate and Allie was a good family comedy.
Oh, here's Richard Benjamin, star of Michael Crichton's original Westworld, which is better than the show, fuck you, it is.
He also went on to direct The Money Pit starring Tom Hanks, which is an important film for me.

In 2004 Susans husband and 2 sons were in a plane that crashed on take off. Tragically her 14year old son Teddy died plus pilot and flight attendant.
So sad.
Disco Dracula: He's a funky man on the dancefloor. Will rip your throat out with his teeth in a savage and frenzied attack at the drop of a hat.
Drac-power: Able to spin in a pirouette for hours on end.
Drac-weakness: The Disco Sucks movement, which he sees as ironic.

Feels like Dracula actually likes Renfield in this, beyond mere slavery.
The leading ladies in this era were so ordinarily pretty... which is the best pretty ๐. She's streetwise #SundayCinema

Still can't get use to Susan Saint James with all that hair.
"Look! A chicken! A black chicken!"

ADORABLE LITTLE BAT FELLA

I love George in this.
He just plays it straight.
No smirking or gurning.
He plays the vamp out of water aspect so good.I
And he is handsome.
Another underrated Dracula is Duncan Rehger in Monster Squad.
His Count is pure evil.
Those gold trousers were well cut!

Renfield tottering alongside some bouncing boobage right out of Microwave Massacre. Oh, the 70s.
#SundayCinema
Oooh, a slap-slap palm/backhander. The most insulting of all comedy slaps.

The gentleman Paul Kersey?
"He's in three rather large pieces."

Susan Saint James I knew from Kate and Allie.
A pretty good American cimedy.

I always new George mostly for this, Dynasty and the Mitchum film Home From the Hill which I recommend.
Well, he's got more dignity than Christopher Lee's Dracula who was constantly tripping over his own shoelaces onto upturned crosses and slipping into icy water and getting slapped with a big foam hand by Johnny Knoxville riding past in a golf cart.

Hahaha, the magazine swat.
