White Trolley bus in an elegant square in either Lyon or Bordeaux (I can’t remember!)
#SundayPixVehicle A friend has a small human who is very much a vehicle enthusiast so I now have numerous phone pics of public transportation across France!! This one from Bordeaux, or possibly Lyon! It’s a trolleybus don’t you know!! 😊
Two men on a yellow tandem, waving at the camera as they cycle past
A black Chrysler car, face on to the camera, outside the Pink Palace Hotel in Clacton. The hotel building is painted pale pink.
For #SundayPixVehicle please enjoy my dad and his school mate/best man Steve on the tandem my dad restored; and also a cool car outside a very pink hotel in Clacton.
The back of a yellow trade c van. On the back is graffitied: This journey has been approved by Dominic Cummings. EYE TEST IN PROGRESS

A topical one from the covid lockdown
In Malé, the capital city/island of the Maldives. 20+ small motor bikes are neatly parked at the kerb while a few others are being ridden along the road. The riders wear no helmets.

Lots of bikes for whizzing around
Old steam train in green livery. A day trip in Dorset on the Devon Belle Pullman train from Swanage to Norden with champagne afternoon tea.
A children’s (motorised) ‘steam’ train and carriage with a cartoon face (similar to Thomas the Tank Engine) giving rides by a castle in Romania.
Modern train in cream and yellow livery, the sun at a station in Morocco. A line of trees are growing on the open platform.
Another modern train in Morocco. This one in red and white with the letters ONCF on the side. Moroccan trains are much nicer than ours in the UK.

Bold colored mural looking down a set of trolley tracks at an oncoming trolley. There's an old vehicle with a canvas top and a woman in a light purple dress, wearing a hat, driving it on the left, and an enclosed truck moving away on the right. The street is dirt, and the brick buildings on either side are one or two story high. A floating banner reads, Italy, Texas 1879 - 21st Century.

A photo of a mural I took during my drive from PA to TX. This was in a rest stop and I got some of the best fried catfish, slaw, and hush puppies I'd ever had there.
Italy, Texas, US
Standing on the train platform, with a silver passenger train coming into the outdoor station. It's on the opposite tracks. There's a sky walkway just above it that leads to the brick walled station.

A silver/grey Rolls Royce motor car. Not a modern one. I’m not really a car person so I don’t know what model it is. It’s not up to date though. If I won the lottery this is the sort of Rolls Royce I’d have my chauffeur drive me around in. Although I’d probably have it painted black Hammerite.
#SundayPix #SundayPixVehicle A Rolls Royce spotted on the retail park in Uttoxeter last weekend. It was by B&M, Argos, Poundland and Pets at Home.
Hard times for luxury car owners 😀
Yes. That is an electric radio aerial.
Covered truck bed, with plastic skeletons of a cat, a dog, and a person attached to the cover.
#SundayPixVehicle
Spotted this truck last year, 2024, decorated for #Halloween and absolutely HAD to take a photo of it.
Cropped nighttime view of the top of a colorful fair tent, and most of a ferris-wheel. They are brightly lit against the dark sky.

Around and around she goes.
A 2005 British Racing Green Mini Cooper parked on the sandy dirt, with 3 tall palms trees towering over her. The sky is a beautiful mix of blue, dotted with white puffy clouds. There's a man-made hill behind the trees, covered in dry grass, and edged with concrete.

My 2005 Mini Cooper, Pipsqueak. Been driving her for 10 years now, & the sight of her still makes my heart sing with joy. 💚
Two ships on the Gulf of Mexico. The closest is a small red tugboat named, Haden II. There is a massive cruise ship behind it, with people lining the upper deck looking like specks of color.

Both small and large vehicles. The size difference is amazing.
Picnic at a horse show: the seats came out of the car! and meand my father in a rowing boat at Alexandra Park, Hastings. I was about four, I think.
A very old snapshot for #SundayPixVehicle: cars and a family picnic at a Sussex horse show; the seats came out of the car!

Looking up at an aircraft carrier in port.
Listening to the speeches after lunch.
A woman (me)standing between two seamen on the flight deck under a bright blue sky.
Boxing Day 2014 I had lunch on the USS Essex in San Diego. It was a celebration of various youth awards and the College Bowl. Not swanky but fabulous, and crew members gave us a tour.

One of my taxis arrived and the doors opened up just like a DeLorean. I was so surprised I just stood there and headed, before commenting, 'Back to the Future car!'. Out head this handy little sign my the passenger door to remind you that there was no handle to open it.

Swiss alpine train with yellow and green striped livery. Upon it is emblazoned ‘Wengernalpbahn’
Another Alpine addition to #SundayPixVehicle - shuttle service between horrible touristy Lauterbrunnen and calm, car-free Wengen.

which I washed with half a bucket of water cos I don't want a hosepipe ban, polished and waxed so it'll rain on the way to the ferry on Tuesday. Mercedes 500SL, 2004, last of the hand-built models. Not bad nick. Goes like a rocket.
