Tokotoko Debut: Super Mario Land Attack: Moai Marathon Type: Offensive Speed: 8/10 Power: 8/10 Pass: 1/10 Spike: 3/10 These living moai heads come from the Easton Kingdom in Sarasaland! You may look at this guy and think it's an impenetrable, immovable object, but you couldn't be more wrong. Well, they are impenetrable, but they're FAR from immovable! They're sprinters, blasting through the craggy cliffs and searing sands of Sarasaland. Those shades keep their eyes protected from the heat too. Tokotokos bring a mix of speed and power to the Spikers League, making them great on offense. They can't pass the ball well though, so you shouldn't have more than one or two on your team. The Moai Marathon attack has them rev up before sprinting ahead in one direction, burying any opponents they run over into the ground!
Batadon Debut: Super Mario Land Attack: Chin Chagrin Type: Technique Speed: 5/10 Power: 5/10 Pass: 2/10 Spike: 10/10 Like Tokotokos, the Batadons come from the Easton Kingdom. These guys traded the arms and the slick-looking shades for a pair of wings. It's hard to believe such small and thin wings could lift a huge statue like this off the ground, but one look at a group of Batadons fluttering through the air dispels all suspicions. Don't admire the scene, though. They may be trying to get above you and slam down! In the Spikers League, Batadons aren't especially fast or powerful, but their wings allow them to get super high in the air for powerful spikes on the ball. Their Chin Chagrin attack makes them float in the air for a bit, and after a few seconds, come crashing down with a powerful shockwave. That's one tough chin!
Hiyoihoi Debut: Super Mario Land Attack: Ganchan Throw Super Spike: Monumental Strike Type: Balanced Speed: 3/10 Power: 7/10 Pass: 6/10 Spike: 4/10 The king of the Easton Kingdom is normally a pretty easygoing guy, despite what those mean-looking sunglasses may tell you. He evolved from the Tokotokos, growing legs and much stronger arms. When he fell under Tatanga's control, Mario had to weave around the boulders he threw to get past him! Hiyoihoi is a pretty balanced captain, with his strength being his best feature. And just as well, because that strength allows him to hurl huge Ganchans at the opponents! These large rocks will bounce around the stadium for a bit, burying anyone they stomp on, and even trying to home in on foes! Hiyoihoi rounds up his Tokotoko and Batadon troops together to form a gigantic Moai head, which headbutts the ball for a powerful spike.
