A flight attendant sits in an airport gate, next to a large piece of luggage and a cup from Starbucks. She's blonde, wearing stockings on her long legs, and is looking down to adjust her blouse. In her first-person narration, she mentions that she's deadheading home, and wants to look nice for "myself and my family". An odd thing to say, but she's in an odd situation: 18 months ago, she was in her original male body and fell down a staircase with this girl, like in some silly anime, and swears they fell through each other, specifically their heads, so that when he woke up in the hospital, his brain seemed to be in this body - and when she woke up in his, she had some sort of retrograde amnesia! As much as he wanted to help, the skeptical doctors said any talk of body swaps would do more harm than good, and his family's attempt to jog her memory seemed like they were training her to be him. So "she" decided to balance the scales by living her life as best she could, accepting assignments further and further from home, even letting a couple pilots romance her, although she wasn't sure being in this skull had squished her brain into a boy-liking shape. It was a silly action movie set on a plane that had finally started to job her opposite number's memories, and now she's going home to see what they've made of each other's lives, since they're not going to try to reproduce the accident and risk concussions or worse. They just hope their parents don't try to play matchmaker!
