When I was 15 stumbled across #talesofthecity on the back “Micheal:a gay person singular who wanted another person plural with whom he could buy a Christmas tree”.It was the 1st time I had seen the word gay on a book,45 yrs later I’m still reading this series by #armisteadmaupin

I read every one on repeat; and delighted in the TV adaptation #talesofthecity
