A new painting on gesso with grit/sand. After not painting in 5 months, I finally felt at ease with this painting. #taosStudioTour
New painting on gesso with grit/sand for texture. #TaosStudioTour
I reposting this painting because the used canvas is the twin of the following post, purchased at the #Restore #HabitatforHumanity. Scene is near #GhostRanch #NewMexico #TaosStudioTour
Paintings readied for a #TaosStudioTour several years ago. Top: mesa near Abiquiu while 1 in right corner is imaginative painting which if you enlarge it has blue calligraphic marks arising from the land. I saw/see them as spiritual. Work in the vintage windows is abstracted- which I really like.
Needing a bit of color in my day. #RioGrande near #Embudo #NewMexico. #TaosStudioTour
A view thru vintage window frames of #GhostRanch meadow, trees and #pedernal painted about 5-7 years ago. I look at each frame in the window as a complete composition. Looking at this image, I would like to paint this again. #TaosStudioTour
A triptych of Northern New Mexico. I like painting triptychs because I get play with composition across 3 paintings. Some customers buy to have them hung separately and others hang them as one piece. Click on art to see all three paintings #NewMexico #Dixon #Taos #Taosart #TaosStudioTour
Work ready for a #TaosStudioTour several years ago. These all found their forever homes.
