An alternative version of Taro as Tacitus the Red Knight. Tacitus (of Blackvale) is another OC of mine who is the subject of a short story I am writing. Within this image, Taro is depicted with fur accented red armour. In his right arm he holds his helmet while in his left hand he holds his rapier. He looks off into the distance proudly posing for the image.

In a time long since removed, when Black Rose ushered in the Eighth Umbral Calamity, the Warrior of Light and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn quickly fell to the terror of the gas. All those who came into contact with it were killed and Kiht Urha was no different. Yet Taro was not instantly dispatched by the gas. Unbeknownst to him, the miqo'te's altered Aether had lengthened the effects, sparing him the instant death but forcing him to watch as the Scions and the Warrior of Light fell one by one to the terrifying weapon. He clutched Kiht, desperately trying to wake her up, saying he was sorry for not being nicer when the first met. Saying how much he wishes he could say everything he wanted to... How much he *loved* her. Yet it was all for naught as she had long since passed and Taro was not far behind...
