This is not an #nlwx complaint, but it kinda feels odd to be in early April and have us hit 8 C on a grey cloudy day. I'd wager it's at least a bit unusual. Either way. #TeaByTheSea: Cobb's Pond edition. Nice to hear the robins and juncos singing a bit.
Different kind of #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition today. Changed my mind on the way there after deciding to pick up a scone. Decent #nlwx for it, just enough breeze to keep us from overheating.
This is maybe my favorite from this series so far. It’s complex; I wasn’t sure at first who would be killed (so many options and there was a decent buildup) and I DEFINITELY didn’t know who the killer was (so very many options!) #MurderSpillsTheTea #VickiDelany #TeaByTheSea #MurderMystery #Booksky
Today is def a brewer. Gorgeous #nlwx for #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. Been a while since I've been down at lakeside for some basking.
Not quite ready for Spring yet, but a nice #nlwx day is hard to complain about. Can't hike is much with the dog anymore cause of her knee, but we can do some shorter #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake editions.
I'd prefer colder and sunnier #nlwx for a #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition boil \ cook up down the Airport Nordic snowshoeing trails, but can't complain any more than that. No wind, snowy forest, unbroken trail, it's all A+ on those marks. Feels good to get down to the lake and hear the water.
Excellent #nlwx for a #TeaByTheSea: Boil up edition down on the airport nordic snowshoe trails. Once I got half way down the hill it was pure serene winter silence and beauty. Just hook it straight to my veins!
Another episode of #TeaByTheSea: Cobb's Pond edition. Quiet #nlwx this evening, not a breath of wind, really highlights the near constant wail of the skidoos in the distance. Seems like a bit of freezing drizzle is coming down too.
May as well get out and brave the coldest #nlwx of the year (so far). Never too cold #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition... Probably. First time I crack out the snow shoes in like 3 or 4 winters, even then it was mostly for grip going back up the hill. Beauty of a day if you dress for it.
Lol ps #TeaByTheSea: Thomas Howe snowshoe trails edition.
Waited for the wind to calm down a bit before taking the dog out for #TeaByTheSea: Cobb's Pond edition.
First #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition boilup of the season. Nice to be out there, even if it was a bit chilly. Let's see if #nlwx can give us a bit more fluff since all our snow is now as hard as a rock.
I don't think it's quite the peak yet, but the sunny #nlwx is making everything pop wonderfully. Gorgeous (probably too hot day for October) time for #TeaByTheSea: Corduroy Brook edition.
Been a while since I've had some #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. Gorgeous day out here, still about 20 ish days early of fall peak, though the maples are well on their way. #nlwx
I was gonna have #TeaByTheSea: Tea By The Sea edition, but we had just eaten before driving past this spot. Didn't think sitting down and just ordering one cup of tea would seem sane.
May as well do some #TeaByTheSea: Lewisporte edition while we're out buying flowers. #nlwx really outdid itself today.
Today was a half cup of #TeaByTheSea: Harbour Le Cou edition. I feel like it's probably a lot prettier when you can see it fully. Can't always win the #nlwx lottery though.
Medicore #nlwx for today's #TeaByTheSea: Sanbanks edition. Once the showers stopped it wasn't so bad! Great for not being too warm, not the greatest for photogenics. Still the best beaches in the province, no contest.
Pretty epic #TeaByTheSea: Francois edition. Beautiful #nlwx for it. The south coast is stunning!
Had the second half of my thermos as #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. While #nlwx was nice, she was a bit cruel today. Sun went away about 2 minutes into my first cup, and it stayed cloudy until I got back to the car. Timed that perfectly I did... sigh.
Another beauty of a day for #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. Noticed this "natural rock" as I was walking past this blowdown... Upon closer inspection, not a rock. Using a rough guesstimate on where I think I was, is 137 yards a believable distance to shank a ball into the woods? #nlwx
After 5 days with the flu that ran me through an intense coughing P90x routine for my core muscles, finally getting outside to breathe some fresh air. What glorious #nlwx for #TeaByTheSea:Gander Lake edition. Slightly dangerous with the sun melting blobs of snow from the treetops at random.
Another beauty day for #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition down at Jo's Jaunt. Lost the outer shell after about 10 mins, pitt vents and front zipper open to full, gloves discarded in the backpack... Might as well be the end of summer except everything is brown and gross instead of dry and green. #nlwx
Was a beautiful albeit drippy day for #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. We're dog sitting this week, so it comes with a little extra company. May as well double the soggy doggy. Better yet, #nlwx let the sun come out eventually, that was nice of it!
What a wonderous day for #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition and a little cook up. These blueberry maple pork sausages from Cormack are freakin delicious. There's nothing to complain about when #nlwx gives you pure blue skies.
Perfect #nlwx for a dual cup of #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. Tried out the new trail section leading west from Joe's Jaunt to the Airport Nordic snowshoe trails. Lots of really nice forest sections and a lot of it has a nice view of the Lake (like the big rock with the Inukshuk rip off on it)
Today's #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition is nice because #nlwx finally saw fit to give us an acceptable amount of snow. A fluffy snow covered forest is my happy place, day or night.
Beauty of a day for a boil up and #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition. Unfortunately the snow melted under the stove and we lost over half of the tea from the kettle after it tipped over, but at least we salvaged most of a cup. We can probably consider today a brewer. #nlwx
It was time for a nice "wintery" version of #TeaByTheSea: Gander Lake edition... Unfortunately the winter ended at the top of the hill. Felt more like a dank Halloween evening than the middle of January. #nlwx
