Textbox 1, Thancred: "I was looking for one of those many moons ago in Ul'dah. I know far better now though not to beg beyond my lot." Textbox 2, Alica: "Wisest thing you've said this whole adventure." The two of them makeup after a rather heated adventure with some friendly teasing.
Textbox, Thancred: "Pity I'm about to be a liar. If, for whatever reason, I fail to see this through, or if we find our way back...please, be the one to look after her." Thancred makes one more solemn request of his friend.

A very worried look on their face, they wonder why his mortality seems so imminent to him, and the burden they now share as two guardians of a child, on a quest neither of them might see the end of.
