River at flood level, flat and shiny, brown, white and blue reflecting storm clouds and blue sky. Light is breaking through the clouds and in the distance on the right is the spire of a church.

Every time I go for a walk on #Dartmoor, I worry about the radioactivity.
This is a lie. I don't, but if you're buying a property in large parts of #ThatDevon, the presence of radon is a potential issue.
View over a muddy pasture to distant scattered trees with a streak of grey water beyond them. Overcast.

And we love you too, mate. #ThatDevon
Sunrise over a broad estuary with a pontoon and small boats in the middle distance. The horizon is orange and gold, the sun just visible. Blue sky streaked with thin cloud in places.
Nice morning if cold. #ThatDevon
One of my favourite gifs.
Usually appropriate for #ThatDevon too.
Broad river estuary reflecting blue sky. The opposite shore is visible as a dark grey streak. To the right are a few small white boats.
Turned out nice again. #thatDevon
Devon wouldn't be Devon without occasional soakings. #ThatDevon
Blimey. The Graun is in Exmouth.

Craft event of the year next weekend, in Bovey. As one who went last year, I can tell you that you'll need to bring plenty of money.
PLENTY.

Fleecy white clouds, distant misty hills and boulders surrounded by grass in the foreground. The shadows of clouds move across the landscape.
Anyway. I was up on that #Dartmoor today. It was sublime. #ThatDevon
Broad river estuary at low tide. Boats bob on distant blue water, cloudless sky overhead, red-brown beach in the foreground.
View from the station. #ThatDevon
It took me forever to get home from Exeter on the bus. Something slow-moving blocking Barrack Road, I think.
I know most of you won't have a clue where this is, I just mention these things for local colour. #ThatDevon
It's raining steadily here in #ThatDevon and very welcome it is, although I'd rather it rained at night and not during the day.
One can't have everything, of course.
View through winter woodland to a distant highmoorland beyond. Bright blue sky.
Gone walkies. #ThatDevon
Broad dark river estuary with sun breaking through thick grey cloud and mist. There is light on the ruffled water.
Weather changeable. #My400 #ThatDevon
The thing about living in #ThatDevon is that if the weather's good, you forget what you'd planned and go out. It really is like that. This is about the third sunny day we've had since Christmas and I'm not kidding, everyone (AND their dogs) was out today.
I knew it was Mousse.
Anyway, I'm now Scruffy Bit Of #ThatDevon.
Boats in a harbour. The water is smooth and glassy, the sky blue-grey with patches of blue in the distance. Near us are three small blue and white boats. Others are scattered across the harbour. On the left, cottages painted blue, cream and white climb upwards.
Blue-green water in a harbour. A pontoon extends across tester with a few craft moored to it. Behind it lies a second pontoon, then another, into the distance. Spindly masts create a thicket against a blue-grey sky.
Having a Grand Day Out.

Here is my #Yule log.
Been promising myself one since I moved to #ThatDevon

Went to the shop to get bread. Drizzling a bit. 'No problem,' I sez to myself.
By the time I came home, 20 minutes later it was pouring in rivers. My waterproof coat is dripping in the conservatory and my knees are soggy.
Good for the complexion, they say.

View across a wide river estuary at low tide. In the foreground is brown mud, giving way to water. Blue sky is reflected in the middle and far distance. A line of wooden boards leads into the centre of the riverbed from the right. The far bank is a dark grey line separating the sky and the land.
Misty murky view across a wide river estuary. Two thirds of the photo is mud, then the dark grey line of the opposite bank and above it, thick cloud.
I don’t understand why the word dreich didn’t originate in Devon. #devon #dreich #ThatDevon
