A very old book with a speckled brown cover and the title and author in black – The Blue Castle by LM Montgomery
The first page of the book with the name of the owner, "Mollie Collins, 7 Balmoral St, Waitara", with Mollie crossed out in pencil and "Ann" written in over it, then "Ann" corssed out in pen and "Barbara" written in over that.
Anyone else got a treasured book like this? When I read it I have to turn the pages gently, as many are no longer attached to the binding. It was published in 1928 (so nearly 100 years old!) and was my grandmother Mollie's, passed on to my mother and aunty Barb before I got hold of it
