My favorite is #TheCityHall, but he’s terrific in everything.
Day 10: For secretary, there is only one choice. Lee Jun-hyuk has played the hot secretary in not just one but three separate #kdrama in three separate decades: #TheCityHall (2009), #AreYouHumanToo (2018), and the sleeper hit #LoveScout (2025), and he’s great in all of them.
The image depicts a street scene in what appears to be an industrial or working-class neighborhood. It is presented as black and white, which gives it a historical feel likely dating back several decades. On the left side of the frame stands a row of dilapidated wooden buildings with worn-out paintwork. Some have visible boarded-up windows and doors, suggesting they are abandoned or not well-maintained. The architecture indicates that these might be old structures in need of renovation. In the center of the image is an alleyway flanked by fences on both sides. To the left side of this narrow path sits a barrel with various pieces of trash scattered around it, including newspapers and other refuse. This implies neglect or lack of sanitation services in the area. On the right, there's another set of buildings that appear to be closed shops or warehouses, indicated by their large metal doors which are currently shut. The walls show signs of wear and age, reinforcing the notion of an economically challenged environment. In the background, a water tower looms over the scene, standing out against the sky and signaling its importance in providing municipal services for this part of town. Further back is evidence of industrial activity with what looks like smokestacks or chimneys from factories contributing to the smoggy atmosphere captured here. Overall, the image conveys an impression of urban decay and socio-economic har [...]

The image is a black and white photograph showing an urban alleyway with buildings on either side. The scene appears to be from the early 20th century, as indicated by the style of housing and infrastructure. In the foreground, there's a large barrel in the center, surrounded by scattered debris such as papers and small trash items. A wooden fence runs along one wall of the alleyway, while on the opposite side are dilapidated buildings with visible wood siding and some open doors or windows suggesting neglect or disuse. The middle ground shows more alley details: a few larger barrels, an assortment of discarded objects like metal parts, bricks, and what seems to be broken furniture. The pathway is littered with trash which indicates poor maintenance or possible abandonment by its inhabitants at the time. In the background stands an industrial water tower above some distant structures, possibly part of Los Angeles' urban landscape near City Hall as per referenced caption information from "Mexican quarter, Mexican Quarter,Los Angeles" suggesting this photo was taken in a marginalized area during that period. The architecture is utilitarian with features such as high windows and corrugated metal roofing on the buildings. The overall atmosphere evokes socioeconomic hardship common to areas designated for resettlement or considered undesirable by society's standards at that time. It reflects an era when cities were rapidl [...]
