Oooo! My mum recommended this to me last night. I loved #TheDetectorists, so looking forward to trying this world out too

We’ve had a fabulous few days in Suffolk. Stayed in Woodbridge (The Cherry Tree - great pub). Poked around Framlingham to find #thedetectorists locations, then some time at Orford (Riverside Cafe), and to coast at Slaughden where the sea was spectacular, and there’s a Martello Tower.

Watching the first two seasons of #TheDetectorists for the second time has hit me really hard: sweet, funny, humane … & a really painful reminder of everything that I lost in leaving first the UK & then archaeology.

I feel a bit bad that it's taken so long. But I also feel like I've found a right special ring pull (probably from a can of Tizer, c.1984). Just binge watched every episode of #thedetectorists this week, and what a thoroughly lovely find, better late than never 😌
