The 1988 novelisation of 1964 #DoctorWho television serial #TheEdgeOfDestruction was written by #NigelRobinson. This 2011 audiobook edition is read by #WilliamRussell and uses the book’s cover art by artist #AlisterPearson. This latest reissue features the current series logo.

Having defeated The Daleks, the Doctor tries to return to 1963 to return Ian and Barbara to their own time.

Unfortunately the TARDIS has other plans for them all as they’re all taken to the Edge of Destruction… the next story in my DoctorWho rewatch.

Set entirely in the TARDIS, #DoctorWho's #NoPlaceLikeHome has some strong competition - notably #TheEdgeofDestruction. Whilst this is nowhere near the level of that story, it's still very much worth a listen. Featuring the Doctor with Erimem by herself was also a nice change.
