the horrors by plotDriving_NPC. a shadow being manifests behind and hovers above a couch where a chicken on a cellphone sits. the ominous, looming figure says "what's up?" to which the chicken replies "doomscrolling". the shadow figure then says they're going to make some bread and whooshes out the room. a door by the couch starts shaking before a green gelatinous cube full of weapons burst in. the chicken asks how the cube's day was, to which the cube replies "I've had worse ones".
the scent of bread wafts into the room, and the gelatinous cube states they must be cleansed and zoom into another room, leaving a slime trail behind them. the cube turns on the water in the shower, and the weapons are rinsed out of their body.
the chicken is alone in the room again, but the door begins shaking once more. this time it bursts open to reveal two two vague-but-angry-looking figures, one of whom holds a pitchfork. the chicken begins to glow, and the two figures are confused to find just a chicken behind the door. the chicken then unleashes its eldritch form, sprouting horrifying appendages and tentacles, oozing and dripping and surrounded by blue flames. the two figures yell "nope" and swiftly exit.
we cut to the shadow figure baking bread in the kitchen. the dough rises, they pour it into a loaf pan, set a timer, and load it into the oven. the shadow hums to themselves while doing this. upon completion, they plop the bread onto a plate and present it to the others excitedly: BREAD! the gelatinous cube (now clean/free of weapons), the chicken (now returned to normal), and the shadow figure all enjoy the bread together on the couch. the end... for now <3
spooky season may have ended, but THE HORRORS persist... here's something I've been working on for a bit. might try out some different formats and such, but consider this the official introduction of these characters. who's your favorite?
