The Le Bakery Albuquerque Foodies • From Our Heart to the Community This month marks 6 months since The Le Bakery opened, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. The love, kindness, and support from this community have meant more to us than words can say - far beyond what we ever expected when we first opened our doors. Recently, I learned that SNAP benefits will be paused in November, and as a mom, that news hit me deeply. I know how important every meal is for a child. So even though we're still a small business working through our own financial challenges, I want to do something — no matter how small — to help. Starting November 1st, and continuing until SNAP benefits are restored, we'll be offering Free Kids' Meal Breaks here at The Le Bakery. Each child can receive one free meal: Cheesy Bread Egg Sandwich These meals are not on our menu and not for sale - they're the breakfasts I make for my own children every morning. They're made with love, warmth, and care... and now, I'm happy to make them for other children too. We wish we could do more, but we believe that even small acts of kindness can make a difference.
