Jamie’s day job was with @cumbriawildlife.bsky.social but I met him when were both crowdfunding to buy copies of #TheLostWords for schools in our counties. His campaign, characteristically went many extra miles, as he walked across England, visiting schools along the way to enlighten & delight.

I had a fab time today in Ulva and Lochdon Primary Schools, Isle of Mull, sharing and poetry-making with #TheLostWords. Read some great acrostics the pupils had already produced, and we had great fun with Otter and lots of words beginning with S. @RobGMacfarlane @JackieMorrisArt
