Here's me & Ben MacFarlane at yesterday's event #TheNextDecade celebrating relational cultures in schools @thenextdecadeuk.bsky.social . He wanted to talk teddy bears as behavioural help to children. His energy left me feeling hopeful about what can be accomplished collectively.

Here's yesterday's event in Leeds. #TheNextDecade Conference attracted more than 1100 delegates to talk about how we create truly relational cultures in schools. I felt delighted & relieved to be amongst such a large number of people who are committed to this vision.

It was a thought he shared in his keynote at #TheNextDecade this morning. I'm not sure that I buy it entirely as my reading of the toolkits is that they are 90% so general as to be toxic in the sense he describes. It's interesting to think about though.
