JAMSTEC Shinkai Expedition The JAMSTEC Shinkai Expedition is a 20-day research mission in collaboration with Japanese Agency of Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC).

The latest @OceanCensus expedition has begun!

In partnership with JAMSTEC, with support from #TheNipponFoundation, the team is searching for new species in Japan’s deep ocean, using the legendary Shinkai 6500 submersible. Follow the journey #Shinkai6500.
