#DoctorWho meets #StarTrek and the #EurovisionSongContest, Like #TheOneDoctor, #BangBangABoom is another Christmas Special in #BigFinish's earlier #MainRange stories. Unfortunately, this one didn't quite hit the mark for me and lost me early on.
#TheOneDoctor, if viewed solely as a comedy, does work. Its not something you should take 100% seriously. Some of the jokes land, others not so much. Comedy in #DoctorWho can go either way. Fortunately, this hit its mark most of the time.

Often considered a #BigFinish "Christmas Special", #TheOneDoctor does feel a bit like a pantomime at times. For this reason, #ColinBaker's Sixth Doctor is the perfect Doctor for the story. He plays off well with Christopher Biggins, who plays a conman impersonating the Doctor.
I really am loving the #SixthDoctor on audio. It shows us what he could've become, had the BBC allowed him to stay and if he'd been given decent material to work with.
#TheOneDoctor is not a 5 star story, but it is certainly a very strong 4.
