This book was wild from start to finish. As a beautiful and bloody introduction to the series, the author held nothing sacred and I was left guessing to the very end.

So Oraya's whole arc in bk1 feels absolutely irrelevant to pt1-2 of bk2
I know trauma's weird but her ignoring everything she learned in bk1 is so tiring
She keeps running around like a headless chicken then gets offended at consequences 🤨
