I hesitate to recommend this doc on Netflix, #thestringer; it alleges the "Napalm Girl" photo, was NOT taken by AP photographer Nick Ut but instead by a local Vietnamese "Stringer" who's credit was buried. It does raise the subject of credit over creative works and attempts to tear down that credit

This new documentary on the accreditation of the "napalm girl" photo could have been structured much better, but its power lies with an unknown freelance photographer, who may have actually snapped the most iconic photo of the Vietnam War.

When I heard about #TheStringer and the questioning of Ut’s credit for “Napalm Girl,” I assumed it would be sensationalist bs. Now that I’ve seen it, I see it’s not. It’s a compelling story with compelling evidence. I haven’t seen any kind of response from Ut, the AP’s report isn’t persuasive.
