#TheTaleofZatoichi (1962), a surprisingly socially/culturally critical #Samurai / #Yakuza #thriller that I really liked. Very straightforward #storytelling, yet with interesting mysteries and great black and white images.
I don't quite understand why these classics don't get more attention. #filmsky

I'm mainly a fan of the #LoneWolfandCub #manga, I also really like the #film adaptations I know.

For Christmas I got myself a couple of old #films about the blind swordsman #Zatoichi. I can hardly contain myself and am looking forward to it.
