Don’t get me wrong, this was one hell of a good drama but it was depressing and sad to watch. Very satisfied with the ending. Plot was engaging despite some lagging scenes. Dubbing was off in some places. A good watch.

Completed #TheVendettaOfAn and really really enjoyed it. I liked that the ML was an *acknowledged* genius from young and was considered the greatest adversary to the antagonists. None of the antagonists were stupid, and their weaknesses were related to their humanity.

I will need to avoid melos and thrillers for a while after this, but I’ll definitely be finishing #TheVendettaOfAn and I want to go on record saying that it is leagues better than Zanghai (sorry not sorry). It feels like a game of qi played between experts, yet the pawns still have agency and weight

Love that Cheng Yi’s character seems to be a strategist and smart. Will love watching him gain allies and see who supports him. Since it is a Cheng Yi drama, I will not be surprised if he dies at the end 🤣 (no spoilers please)

Just finished the 1st Ep of The Vendetta of An
It is a nice change of pace that the main character doesn’t want to redeem their family’s reputation and honor. No he just wants revenge. Beautiful cinematography.

This will be a fast paced drama for sure since it is only 28 episodes. Lots of great veteran actors in the cast. There has got to be hidden enemies within Chang An & palace that Cheng Yi will have to discover and reveal which will be fun to watch. 2/3

Finished the #cdrama #TheVendettaOfAn. It was well acted & had a visually nice atmospheric presence. It was pretty heavy tho & I think I may have enjoyed it better, had i been in a better mindset. I didn't dislike it by any means, but it felt a bit like a chore to get through some episodes.
