CHRIS Cops only show up at night at the periphery. Don't want to risk a bullet in the head for junkies. PETER And you didn't tell us where we're headed? CHRIS Compartmentalization. Share the information to a minimum to prevent leaks. (beat) Now, hold tight. He swerves through narrow streets. one cruiser clips a wall -- gone. The other stays on them, closing fast. PETER They're still — CHRIS -- Working on it. A bullet SHATTERS the rear glass. Peter yells, stomps the brake. The sedan jerks -- CRASH! -- the cruiser rear-ends them. Peter spins, FIRES two quick rounds. The cop slumps over his wheel. PETER Problem solved. CHRIS Yeah. Except my foot, fucker. Chris turns to look at David and Matt. CHRIS (cont'd) You okay back there? David nods. Matt struggles to stay awake. DAVID He needs suture. I can't do much more in here CHRIS Just keep him awake until we arrive.
