Pink-flowering magnolia with flowers starting to open, seen from across the street, sunlit in front of a dark cloud and sunlit pastel houses

Top news from the garden wildlife cam… Stumpy the #hedgehog whose foot was injured last year has returned. He has healed and survived! Go Stumpy 🦔 #TinyJoys
Please enjoy (video has been checked by Smudge’s Hedgehog Rescue, and they agree he is in good health and thriving, no intervention needed 👍)
The undergrowth in a small wooded area. There are little cones of moss grab the attention, a closer look showing that each is developing a tree sapling. Mostly birch, I think.
Look at these little stalagmites of moss, each creeping up a tiny sapling, like giving each a set of woodland armour.

Our big tree is starting to grow this year’s leaves #tinyjoys
What have the hedgehogs been up to this past week? The males, especially this big lad, are keen to perpetuate the species. The females are less keen, and with prickles involved, consent is essential. Other hedgehogs who just want a snack really wish they'd take it elsewhere! #TinyJoys
A string quartet of three young women and one young man performing with a woman who is singing and playing a keyboard for the piece wherein I shot this photo. They are performing in a chapel with low-key decoration
Lovely concert tonight with Moira Smiley and the Rasa String Quartet @mountauburncem.bsky.social . 🎶 #TinyJoys
Today my #TinyJoys was a kind person and friend of my coworker gifting me a PINK DRINK meant for him but since he wasnt there so i had it bestowed upon me :3 it was so cute.
View of my lap, with a colourful modern quilt on it, being worked on. I'm stitching lime green curves into a purple and quarter circle. The other fabrics have been quilted in different colours. A small black cat is happily sacked out on my lap, her little face sticking out under the quilt, as if she were tucked into bed.
View of said cat now the quilt has been put aside, although she's still on two other quilts. She's lying on her side, back leggies sticking straight out in front of her, and you can just see one of the white patches on her belly.
#TinyJoys is quilting with a small cat sitting determinedly on my lap under the quilt, enjoying how the lime green thread looks against the purple shot cotton fabric. It's not a colour combination I think I've used before, and it's so vibrant.
Spent the evening making and listening to a collaborative playlist (with my spouse and the daughter-in-law-elect) of songs with questions. #TinyJoys
I recommend adding #TinyJoys to your feeds. I also like the birds feed.
#Tinyjoys: squeezing in the bare minimum* cellist practice of an evening come what may.
*Seriously, it was 15 mins
Little notepad with Office for National Statistics logo at the bottom. I am very easily pleased.

Cat and #hedgehog from the garden wildlife cam. (No idea whose cat) Hedgehog is Tony, notable by a few errant v long spines and huge claws (not that you can see them in this clip) #TinyJoys #nature
(And the metal silhouette ‘hog, left of Hedgehig House, is Rusty, our new garden addition)

A piece of college ruled paper covered in badly worded, not quite as badly spelled Ho Chunk. No English words in sight.
#TinyJoys The smol pride of writing out my Hoocąk homework w/o checking notes or dictionary, without adding an English translation, knowing it’s full of mistakes but that trying to just *go for it* is pushing my language mind
#tinyjoys A colleague doing both services thus giving me time to do the dull but necessary Order of Service post Holy Week count. Another colleague making me some new purificators I can take to OFM. Being busy with visitors but from an internal point of view being very quiet as everyone is on break
