Pressing the button on your electric blanket repeatedly still not resulting in any heat, no matter how long you wait for it to warm up? Try plugging it in.

Got #MCAS? Try to get to know the early physical signs of a reaction (for me, facial puffiness/redness & dimples on cheekbones) & keep a mirror on your desk so you can spot any signs before they turn into a painful reaction, & act accordingly (for me, Benadryl, Aspirin or Cetirizine). #TipsFromCrips
I get that too - see #TipsFromCrips. Latest discovery is clothes hacking - discovering old PJ bottoms make fab loose armed v-neck tops if you cut the groin seam - no sewing needed in non-fray fabric. Fab for hot sweats. And old felted cashmere jumpers make really comfy bras with some cutting & tying
Forget what you've gone into a room for? Do *something* useful anyway. Updated tip: you can buy a device for under £10 that gives you extra USB ports. Get one of these and you don't need to worry about plugging and unplugging peripherals. #TipsFromCrips
Neck hate fabric brushing against it? Try #ClothesHacking. Cut collars/hems off if fabric is non-fraying (fab for felted cashmere bought cheap on eBay), or take wide-legged pyjama bottoms & cut the groin seam to create a hole for your head. Voila! A wide-armed, no-neck irritating top. #TipsFromCrips

Love this - & great timing. I've just been cutting seams off jumpers and turning remnants into hairbands (also discovered you can turn wide-legged PJ bottoms that no longer fit into really flattering v-neck tops with wide sleeves by cutting groin seam). #ClothesHacking can be fab fun. #TipsFromCrips
