#WorldPolioDay is a reminder of the incredible progress we’ve made in the fight to #EndPolio.

Since 1950, when children first collected coins in milk cartons on #Halloween night to support children in post–World War II Europe, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF has stood as a powerful symbol of kids helping kids.

Here's a look back at 75 years of #ToT4UNICEF teaching kids they can make a difference.

75 years ago, teacher Mary Emma Allison and minister Clyde Allison wondered how they could make a difference through trick-or-treating.

That Halloween, kids in their Philadelphia neighborhood collected 🪙s alongside 🍬 — raising $17 for UNICEF.
