It's #toadallytuesday? Here are some boreal toad (Anaxyrus boreas) tadpoles freshly reintroduced to a Rocky Mountain site where they have historically been found. The reintroduction was led by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and will be monitored by my research group. Toadlets emerged a week later! 🐸

The toad is tan and brown with a darker back, large parietal glands, dark blotches and reddish raised bumps. Its back has a light center line running from the top of the nose to its rear end.
