Zest the rind, squeeze the juice and freeze in ice-cube trays in order to enjoy their sharp bitterness all year round.

#TodayInMyKitchen Figgy Pudding quandaries.
1st recipe: old school, just figs, cinnamon, nutmeg.
2nd recipe: figs, lemon zest & juice, candied citron.
2nd recipe tastes nicer than the first, but you can't taste the figs any more.
Is it still a Figgy Pudding if it no longer tastes of figs? π€
A picture of 2 roast chickens on roasting rack. The right-hand chicken has a cocktail stick stuck in it. The right-hand chicken has been brushed with egg-white before roasting, and is a deep, rich orangey-brown.
#TodayInMyKitchen Roasting Chickens
1. Put chickens on rack.
2. Slosh water under rack.
3. Bake 4 hours @ 120Β°C Fan.
(Optional) For a rich colour, brush skin with eggwhite.
Not yours. The chicken's. (See pic).
And that's it. #NoFaffβ’
