The artist explains the work is about “seeing, realisation, apprehending, wonder, delight, understanding”. In the scene a family look at the yew tree & the father looks down at the son. A yew tree stands in the churchyard in Tisbury - important since it linked to “myth, mystery, history & the layers & layers of people who have experienced it.”

A semi abstract view of a landscape. Rocks and cliffs. With lots of green countryside & a sky in a multitude of colours.
Great - St Hilary is a wonderful church to visit. You have picked out some real gems with your other two.

A detail showing 2 men, one old & one young, who are planting a tree.
The biblical quote attributed to the scene is "the righteous, & the wise, & their works, are in the hand of God".
Such beautiful colours.
