Firefighters have been working on the fire line mopping up hot spots and monitoring closely for any changes in fire behavior! The fire is now 5% contained with the size remaining at 85 acres!

Temperatures will sharply increase into Friday, the low 80's, but weak onshore flow will prevent humidities from dropping to critical levels. Conditions Saturday and Sunday will be very similar to conditions Friday.

Overnight crews continued to monitor the fire and watch for any changes in fire activity!
Today, crews will continue to work on completing the line around the fire perimeter, strengthening the current lines, and mopping up along the fires edge!

#ToonervilleFire 1/13 Update: Yesterday firefighters worked on building fire line around the fire edge! The cooler weather brought along some winds which caused growth on the Northern edge! There was spotting that occurred to the North end of the fire! Fire is 85 acres!
