1. Yellowhammer
2. Red-legged Partridge
3. Common Pheasant calling & drumming its wings loudly
4. Dunnocks singing softly in the hedge

Little Egret in the curve of a river with the tide out. seen from a distance. Blue sky. no one else around.

Sounds like a good day!

We spent some time watching this Little Egret while we were on a walk in Essex.

Also saw and heard skylark, curlew, cetti's warbler.

A bird watcher we talked to was raving about the number of avocets.
