Be The Sun: Da kommt luftiger Melodic House Da kommt was auf euch zu! Am 24. März wird dann durch meinen Distributor Ditto Music meine neue Single „Be The Sun“ überall verfügbar sein. Ich wollte mal etwas luftiges machen. Ein Stück Musik, das nicht „voll auf die 12“ geht. Und so bin ich irgendwie am Herumfummeln in Ableton gewesen, als mir die phänomenale Musik des Franzosen Florent Hugel, besser bekannt als HUGEL über den Weg lief. Für einen Elektronik-Musiker wie mich ist diese Art von Musik der Inbegriff von „Hach“. Und es war klar: Sowas will ich auch machen. ## Vibrierend, klimpernd, luftig Man kann die Musik von HUGEL gar nicht so richtig beschreiben. Es ist irgendwas, das entsteht, wenn Melodic House, Electronica und Afro House zusammen abhängen. Alles vibriert, aus allen Ecken und Enden kommen irgendwie Arpeggios, dabei ist alles luftig und kann atmen. Also einfach „Hach“. Ich habe irgendwann mal an einem Remix Contest mitgemacht und seinen Song „Loosen Up“ mit Dawty und Preston Harris durch den Fleischwolf gedreht. Hatte niemanden interessiert. Aber so kam ich auf ihn. Naja, jedenfalls lasse ich mich gern mal durch neues inspirieren. Man soll ja nicht stehenbleiben, oder? Da ich aber die Region von 120 bis 125 BPM als extrem angenehm empfinde, werde ich wohl irgendwo in der Region bleiben. Und dann kann ich auch sonst nicht aus meiner Haut, was meinen Geschmack betrifft. Und ich glaube, genau deshalb hat mich HUGEL wie ein Güterzug getroffen. Es ist halt genau das, was mir seit 2, 3 Jahren extrem gut gefällt. Deshalb wollte ich ja auch sowas mit „Be The Sun“ veranstalten. ## Be The Sun: Was ist ist denn das nun Ich komme mit G# Moll um die Kurve bei entspannten 123 BPM. Ich habe mir ein Sound-Bett gebaut aus einem Arpeggio-Sample, einer Umgebungsaufnahme und einer Silbe des eigentlichen Gesangs, die ich dann allesamt durch allerlei Processing wie Hall, Tremolo und so weiter und so fort gejagt hatte. Es kommt einiges an Percussion zum Einsatz, mehrere Synthie-Pads und mehrere klimpernde und vibrierende Arpeggios, die ich da programmiert hatte. Ach ja, tiefe, mehrstimmige Bässe muss ich ja noch erwähnen. Und ständig passiert irgendwas. Und dann singt SIRMA mit ihrer wundervollen Stimme das eigentliche „Be The Sun“. Das macht sie in einem freien Sample-Paket von der Musikplattform BandLab. Und irgendwie fügt sich so alles zusammen. Durch die etwas nervöse Percussion fühlt sich das Alles extrem vibrierend an. Und ich habe große Probleme, da ein Label dranzuheften, in welcher Musikrichtung das Lied zuhause ist. Jedenfalls hat Ditto Music meine Single wider zu den Streaming-Plattformen gejagt. Wenn ihr unten auf das Bild klickt, kommt ihr auf der Übersichtsseite raus und könnt euch bei den dortigen Diensten das Ding vormerken. Wenn euer Dienst nicht dabei ist, müsst ihr ggf. suchen. Das kann ich aber nicht beeinflussen. Jedenfalls bin ich mal wieder extrem stolz auf das, was mir mit „Be The Sun“ gelungen ist. Die Single kommt am Dienstag mit 2 Versionen des Tracks.
