A cactus lined trail and boulders draw one towards a valley in the distance, colored purple by the beginning of twilight. The horizon and western sky are bright shades of yellow and orange, with high pink cirrus clouds mixed with the deepening blue of nightfall. The glow of the sunset seems to make the trail glow slightly too.
Post sunset twilight caught me along the cactus lined trail once out of the upper Doug fir forest.
