My hairy balls plant, also known as balloon milkweed or balloon plant, Gomphocarpus physocarpus, when we first bought it early this summer. The balls on it were still pale green. The stalk is very slender and the leaves coming off of it are darker than the stalk and balls and also slender. It has small white flowers up at the top on long tiny stalks.
A small clear plastic container where I put the hairy balls, which are actually seed containers for the plants, with a dark remnant of the ball itself and a ton of super fluffy white stuff around it like you get with dandelions... I'm not a botanist or professional gardener so I don't know what it's called.
A small cleaned out yogurt container with the seeds from the explosion of my hairy balls. I'm sorry I just have to keep saying it. You're the one reading or listening to this so it's your own fault for still being here LOL.
My hairy balls exploded.
