Bad Reactions?
No transfusion reactions were reported from the study. Of course there could be some unreported reactions. But results suggest it is safe enough to give RhD+ to RhD- patients when stocks are low.

Who is vulnerable?
Children, women of childbearing age, transplant patients and patients who have anti-D antibodies. Childbearing-aged women have a HDFN risk in future pregnancies. Kids may need lifelong transfusion. Existing anti-D patients risk haemolytic transfusion reaction.
