A Cable Car is Born In celebration of Transit Month, SPUR invites you to our third annual tour of San Francisco’s iconic cable car barn and powerhouse! This behind-the-scenes experience will give SPUR members a unique look at where these historic streetcars are stored, maintained, and restored when they’re not climbing the city’s hills.Ages 10 and up are welcome, and attendees will also have the opportunity to meet our new CEO, Sean Elsbernd.
