However, if your words or actions, such as saying "I did ○○ for you," are intended to demand gratitude or to gain recognition or approval from others, you become an "unpleasant person with ulterior motives." Doing something for the person quietly, without telling the person or anyone else, even if no one ever knows, is likely "true compassion." = May be called "a beautiful heart." If you have feelings like "I did ○○ for you but...," that is a reflection of "the baseness of your own heart," and it likely exists as an issue that needs improvement.
