Even if nine out of ten people hold the same opinion, there are many cases in the world where the remaining one person is the one speaking the truth. The weakness in majority/minority dynamics is being led to believe that “the majority = correct.” If the opinions of nine out of ten people are based on one person’s falsehood, it is easy to turn that into the majority view. In that case, only the remaining one person would have recognized the falsehood. Is that information true, or is it false? Even if it is an AI’s answer, it is nothing more than a reflection of the existing majority view. Therefore, all existing information needs to be reviewed carefully once again.
