COMET #C2023A3 #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS TONIGHT is still an object easy to find despite of being already at 265 million km from us. Visible through the finder at 9th magnitude with a tail of about 6 arcmin.

ONE MINUTE EXPOSURE OF COMET #Tsuchinshan_atlas tonight from B06 #MontsenyObservatory, #Catalonia. Despite the First Quarter Moon influence, the tail is still noticeable and the comet still easy for small telescopes. Colour image at direct focus of the #LX200 on Sony A6000.

t’Tsuchinshan Atlas Comet
Finally! On Friday 10/18, the weather conditions looked good, so I grabbed my Canon EOS80D and tripod and headed for a spot with 360⁰ views! At 7h30pm the comet was barely visible to the naked eye... I did manage to get a few nice images out of the Canon and my Pixel 8 pro! #comet #tsuchinshan_atlas

Detalle del cometa C/2023 A3 #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS el pasado 18 de octubre. Con el Mak127 y la Canon 6D. No pude sacar detalles de la anticola (había nubes finas) y el viñeteo producido por la configuración óptica era muy notable. #astrophotography

And finally, got a few short exposures with my GT81 refractor and my ASI 2600 MC CMOS camera at the same time on Oct 17th. Cirrus unfortunately stopped me from getting any more exposures.

Same camera & lens combo - but #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS under dark rural skies on Oct 17th was much better (even despite the near full Moon). Anti tail was clearly visible.
