The words are those of the traditional Irish greeting - MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE HOLLOW OF HIS HAND

Our #TuesdayTreasure for this week is this beautiful clock. Donated by Henry R Greg (President of our antecedent Manchester College) in October 1893, on the occasion of the formal opening of the College buildings. The clock continues to keep excellent time & sits in our library.
