1,000 Nukes, Zero Crater: The Tunguska Event & The "Superbolt" Theory What hits with the force of 1,000 atomic bombs but leaves absolutely no fingerprints?  Welcome to the ultimate deep dive into the Tunguska Event, the most violent and baffling cosmic mystery in modern history. In 1908, the remote Siberian Taiga was nearly wiped off the map. A massive explosion flattened 80 million trees over 800 square miles, shattering windows hundreds of kilometers away and lighting up the night sky in London. But here’s the kicker: when the first researchers finally reached ground zero, they found… nothing. No impact crater. No meteorite fragments. No smoking gun. How do you hide an apocalypse? In this episode, we strip away the myths to investigate the terrifying science behind Siberia’s great unsolved explosion. We aren't just talking about stray asteroids. We are exploring the wildest—and most scientifically plausible—theories that attempt to explain this craterless catastrophe. Could a microscopic black hole have passed through the Earth? Was it a test of an early weapon of mass destruction? Or was it an antimatter collision? Plus, we break down a groundbreaking new theory that connects Siberia to the mysterious Bell Island Boom. Could the culprit actually be a Superbolt—a lightning strike so powerful it mimics a nuclear blast? If you love unsolved mysteries, dark history, and space phenomena that defy explanation, you need to hear this. We’re separating the science fiction from the terrifying facts. Topics covered: - The timeline of the 1908 Tunguska Event. - Why researchers have never found a crater or cosmic debris. - The "Superbolt" theory and the Bell Island connection. - Meteor airbursts vs. Black Holes. Buckle up—we’re going to ground zero. 👉 Listen now to solve the enigma!

An Asteroid, a Comet, or a UFO? The Tunguska Investigation In 1908, a force 1,000 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb detonated over the remote forests of Siberia, flattening 80 million trees across an area the size of a major city. But here's the part that keeps scientists up at night: there was no crater. Welcome to the podcast that reopens the case file on the Tunguska Event, one of history's most terrifying and profound unexplained phenomena. This isn't just a history lesson; it's a forensic investigation into a cosmic-level catastrophe. We'll present the mainstream scientific theory: a massive asteroid or comet that exploded in an atmospheric airburst, an event so powerful that modern simulations show it was more destructive than a surface-level nuclear blast. We'll sift through the chilling eyewitness testimonies—accounts of "fire in the sky," multiple suns, and the ground shaking hundreds of miles away. But then, we venture into the fringe. We’ll examine the wild and compelling alternative theories that the history books won't touch. Could it have been a miniature black hole passing through the Earth? Or something not of this world—a UFO malfunction? We present all the evidence, from seismic data discrepancies to the strange accounts that science still can't explain. If you're ready to journey into the heart of one of the greatest ancient mysteries, hit that subscribe button. Let's find out what really happened on that fateful morning in Siberia.

Although the asteroid theory wasn't formally proposed until 1980, it starts to show up in #popsci articles about the dinosaurs after the #Tunguska event in 1908.

Instead, the point of the comic is the predictable periodicity of comets.

Infographic titled “A Massive explosion rocked Siberia– June 30, 1908.”

A glowing fireball is shown above a forest. Below, trees are flattened in all directions.

Text highlights:
- Explosion over Siberia from a space object
- 80 million trees leveled
- Energy equal to 10–15 megatons of TNT
- No impact crater — object exploded in the sky
- Still the largest cosmic explosion in human history

Ends with a reminder: Space is closer than we think.

The Tunguska Event: What Happened in Siberia? In 1908, something blew up over Siberia. Flattened 80 million trees. No crater. No debris. Just destruction and questions we’re still answering. The Tunguska event wasn’t subtle. And whatever caused it came in fast, hit hard, and left a scar a thousand miles wide.

In 1908, something exploded above Siberia with the force of 1,000 Hiroshimas. No crater. No impact. Just scorched trees and questions. The Tunguska Event still haunts scientists and it should. #Space #Tunguska #Asteroids
