Yeah so looks like about 50% of my issue was related to the #UDMP but even with a higher end #pfSense firewall I still can't get the torrents to work reliably, after a few minutes traffic just starts dropping.

So it's an ISP level issue, either intentional, or maybe something is wrong.

Anyone else out here using a #UDMP from #Unifi and have a lot of torrents and the like running on it? If so do you see any stability issues?

Ideally, SSH into it and check conntrack -C to see the total connections being tracked. If you're above 11k let me know.

Discovered an odd issue with my Unifi Dream Machine Pro #UDMP.

I was noticing a ton of packet loss and high latency alerts coming from it, took some digging, but I don't think this thing can handle very many simultaneous connections.

I am a big seeder for a lot of Linux ISOs (but like actually).

#Unifi new update is great, except that it's broken as hell, even for Early Access lol.

My #UDMP management interface crashes about 10 times a day now, more if I'm using it a lot.

And then my Content Filter policies disappear randomly, while still being active.

And to make it all better...

the #ubnt #udmp (Dream Machine "Pro") is total garbage. i'm so disappointed with this appliance. it looks like I'll be exploring and doing a review of the @netgate XG-7100. would you take a trade-in by chance?
