So I’ve been able to generate a gene ortholog annotation in gff3 format using gmap. Is there is a way to view the original ortholog nucleotide sequence along with the annotation in #UGENE, so I can see where there are SNPs etc between the alignment? 🤔

I cannot believe the license fee #GeneCodes want to charge users for #Sequencher when there are many free alternatives out there, like #UGENE, #MEGA, #Jalview etc.
What are you using for things like local sequence alignment, primer design, ORF finder?
